Dr (Miss) Sharad Singh is a freelance writer, columnist, social worker, environmentalist, photographer and artist.
She has published more than 50 books. These include four novels, five story collections, three books on women's discussions and books on biographies, history, forensic science, solar energy, tribal life, folklore, ghazals, novels etc.
She is Gold Medalist Double MA in Indian History, Culture and Archaeology. She is PhD in the subject "Aesthetic Elements of Khajuraho Sculpture". Research work has been done on Dr. Sharad Singh's novels, stories and women's discussions in various universities of the country.
She has always raised his voice in favor of exploited, oppressed women through his writings. "Patton Me Quaid Auraten" (Women imprisoned in leaves) and women's discussion book 'Aurat Teen Tasveeren' (Women Three Pictures) centered on women beedi workers of Bundelkhand, have been included in the Manorama Year Book. Her novels titled 'Pichhale Panne Ki Aurauten' (Women of Back Pages) centered on Bedia women, and 'Kasbai Simone' (Simone of a town) on live-in relation, have received many national and regional level honors. Her another novel "Pachakauri" is a read and popular novel analyzing the layers of political and journalistic world closely. Her fourth novel "Shikhandi" interprets the life of Shikhandi, a major character of Mahabharata, from a new perspective.
Dr (Ms) Sharad Singh lives in Sagar Madhya Pradesh, India. She is currently doing freelance writing. She has been the executive editor of the literary magazine "Samayik Saraswati" published from New Delhi and she is constantly active on social media including newspapers and magazines. She believe that only knowledge and courage of rights can give women exploitation-free life. Her regular column "Charcha Plus" in the daily newspaper "Sagar Dinkar" published from Sagar, has earned himself a distinct identity among the enlightened readers for his analytical writings on several contemporary issues. Prior to this, Dr. (Ms.) Sharad Singh has written a regular column titled "Batkao" in the daily newspaper "Acharan" published from Sagar itself and is writing a weekly column of book review in the daily "Acharan" these days.
She is invited to national and international seminars & Webinar for lectures and discussions on various subjects.
